Probably one of our favourite models recently, our little N Gauge Hillman Husky Imp looks fab on a 1960s/1970s era layout nipping around the lanes and even brings a retro feel to any modern layout!
Introduced in 1967, the Hillman Husky Estate brought added practicality to the innovative Hillman Imp range. Based on the rear-engined Imp platform, the Husky featured a distinctive high-roof estate body that offered impressive carrying capacity while retaining the nimble handling, compact dimensions and lively all-alloy 875cc engine that made the Imp so enjoyable to drive. Although produced for only a few years, the Husky earned a loyal following and remains one of the rarer and more distinctive members of the Rootes Group family.
Our detailed scale model captures the Husky’s unmistakable boxy profile, raised roofline and practical estate styling, faithfully recreating a classic British workhorse from the late 1960s. Whether remembered as a family runabout, a small business vehicle or simply as one of the most unusual variants of the Imp range, the Hillman Husky Estate makes a charming addition to any collection of classic British vehicles.
3D printed in resin and finished in mid blue, it is certainly something that will bring back memories for older modellers.
